In this summer semester, I decided to take an online course that I saw that sounded interesting. After a long semester, I decided I would only take one summer course and enjoy the class, for I already knew that it was going to be a reading-heavy course since most online courses tend to be. In this semester, I took one courses: Creative Non-Fiction.
Creative Non-Fiction
This course was an online class that was heavy on the reading. In this class, we had to read several interesting non-fiction novels. The novels that we read were
Reading Lolita in Tehran
On the Outskirts of Normal
Just Mercy
The Heart Can be Filled Anywhere on Earth
Friday Night Lights
Coming Clean
Nickel and Dimed
I enjoyed most of the reads on this list. I found this course to be fascinating, and each of these novels offered a lot of information that I was not familiar with. In all, this course helped me be open to reading more non-fiction.
